Disabling the "Display images in posts." user setting is supposed to display the link version of all images within a post. However, though the systems does displays a link, it appears sometimes what it parses gets incorrectly shortened. Please see attached images of this bug found within a post in this community. The outputted links are not correct since the dots are actually included in the url.

I know this was posted a while ago but I can't replicate this issue, links load fine for me without the dots included.
