Upgrading my forum from 1.8.12 to 1.8.15 and now I'm getting this error when trying to access /index.php.

is php version also updated ?

unless global.php file is modified,
error is referring to code used in header_welcomeblock_member template.

if you have mysql as database type in config.php file,
change to mysqli (and vice versa) & check if it helps
