MyBB Community Forums

So, my forum has a domain authority of around 35 and I have been getting a lot of Addidas and Converse shoe threads spam on my forum.
I know this is being done manually because I have a requirement for new users to have at least 1 comment before they can post a thread and the comments left by these users appear genuine and relevant to the topic. 

My question is, without using a plugin how can I make all outgoing links on my forum as no-follow?  I know MySEO has a setting that does this but I don't want to use a whole SEO plugin just to activate one setting.
