mybb's permission errors in 1.8.X are incredibly vague and often lead to further discussion between a board owner/mod and users to explain what is going on. this can get annoying and time consuming after a while.

what I'd like to see is the ability to assign specific error/no permission pages to specific actions within the core functionality. on top of that, it'd be fantastic if when running a forum update, these customizations do not get overwritten.

This is something I've wanted for a long time now. Would be a really nice addition.

The first idea that pops into my mind is to try to load a language string based on the action passing it as an argument ( error_no_permission("profile") ) or something like that.
