Hi,
I'm looking for specialists opinion. I just start with my forum

and i have my own theme, but i need know, what you think about this theme. Maybe some suggestions. I like honest criticism - it's not bad if you don't like my theme, just tell me what is wrong in your mind... Good opinions i like too.
If somebody want this theme i can put this to download, but i'm not too big optimist

It's very good, although it could be a little wider. It only goes halfway across my screen. :p

I don't really like it.

Pretty much basic, without sounding to harsh it reminds me of a simple board and I wouldn't join if I stumbled across it. (if it was aimed at me)

You know it's very hard for someone to be honest, so I hope i haven't offended you. there are good things such as the colour overlay but i don't like the squeezed look, maybe it's just me but i think it would look great if it was made more modern looking.

I'm glad when i can read some critical comments. My friends "love" this theme because they like me... it's only emotions. So i need that someone "shake me" sometimes:

I agree with Kerrang! The theme reminds me of very old forums somehow, even though I myself know that I can't make that theme. It would be hard for me to join a forum like that though.

I think the colours are the main cause.

Yeah it does look rather simple, but at the same time you managed to give MyBB a new look. If I wouldn't of looked at the copyright I would of thought it was a different script.

As for the colors, how about changing that yellow to white?

And making the new post, no new post, and locked buttons a bit bigger, and less choppy.

As for the width, how about moving the column on the left side to the right side, if possible.

I tried when i had dark background (dark gray) - yellow was better, because white was...like in a fog. And this way yellow stay there. hmm, maybe i try: white is much more "easy" than yellow

- I have 90%finished my own mod for articles - nothing special, only pages with article + reviews on connected forum, but my current job eat all my time =) and when i finish i'll put articles - for my BB its better than looong post's

Is possible & not difficult. I thought about this at start, but:
always i use "Tools" window on the left side - is comfortable for right-hand people because if you have not too big desk, then easiest is moving mouse-point at the right side. If you use menu not too often, then is better if is positioned in non-comfortable place. (this is my second "gold thing" =)

When i pay more attention for this theme i see that
now i have the light-color on the left side of screen, so i think
- i can make forum list in a little more light color & left menu little dark (xchg) or the same as is. Why i think that? Typical people read form left to right, so left side must be "better visible", must have a content; right is not too much important if color & page-background is not in contrast.

But this is patrick's philosophy.

And very thanks for many ideas - just I'll have had to turn off computer & go sleep (after 18hours hard work), but now... i can't sleep i think only about this changes ...
