MyBB Community Forums

Hi. I am in the States.  One of my goals at work is to find a way to create a "closed" forum for just about 30 of my colleagues among several locations, including one in England, so we can post stuff about new discoveries, new ways of doing our jobs, etc.  But, by the nature of the beast, it must be closed to anyone else.  Would MyBB fit the bill?

yes, you can use MyBB forum for your requirement.

basically you can use group permissions system
to make forum available for specific user groups

And you can also make your forum invite only so that only your college people can register.
Set a security question with a secret answer. Pass the answer to your college people only or make registration activate using registration only.
