Well first, as always, you need a new theme. Using the default won't do anything for your forum.

I installed Counter Strike Theme... Conversion by Mybb Central
I like it... but I think maybe a good idea is a make a news themes for mybb, like vbskins or similar pages.

Nice forum, I disagree that you need a custom skin to run a MyBB forum.
Can you explain a bit about what Conversion by Mybb Central means and what they do for future readers ??
