When I post an emoticon such as    it will sometimes not parse properly causing an extra : to be added to it for example :

I believe this is an issue with MyBB as i see it's also happening on this forum and other MyBB forums I'm on.  Could it be editor related?  is there a fix for it? It's very annoying if I do say so myself.

I have never experienced this but there is quite a lot of bugs with SCEditor so it wouldn't surprise me. Could you try opening a report in the bugs section with as much information as possible?
