I see that this forum has the ability to search a thread. Our forum, which is currently sitting at 1.8.15 does not and I've just combed over the Admin CP with a fine tooth..comb...and I can't find where it might have been disabled.
Any guidance or direction would be immensely appreciated. Thank you so much!

So I'm stumbling my way through this, sort of. I found that the search is a template and I've found forumdisplay_search, but I can't seem to find out why it's not being displayed or what's overwriting it.
Got it working. The styles where it had vanished did not have {$search_thread} inserted into the forumdisplay template. Now I just need to tweak it's positioning with a little care and we're all good.
