I've spent about an hour trying to get the settings just right to Require approval on first post by each new user, and I give up. It's too hard. And I couldn't find a plugin that just does this.

I wish this functionality was just a simple option checkbox.

So, someone here must know the simplest and most elegant way to specify Require approval on first post by each new user.

Thank you! Looks elegant. Meanwhile, I think I accomplished it using a new user group (Registered+) that takes a user from group Registered to group Registered+ on first post. I'm not sure it will work.

You dont need another user group for this....with this little plugin every post/thread from user with lower than 1 visible post have to be moderated.

Either way will be fine.
