I just moved my forum to a better host and I want to keep my old site intact because I don't feel like installing all the plugins and templates again. The problem is that I can't rename the data base so it would match the old data base's name and I was wondering if I can change the data base user name and pass from the ftp, by editing a certain php file. I guess these infos must be stored somewhere, right?

(forums directory)/inc/config.php
Change the database information as needed.
Be sure you CHMOD the files/folders correctly again after moving hosts. Smile

Yeah, I know about the CHMOD-ing but if you hadn't reminded me about them I would have forgoten to change them Smile)
