1: Will it be final or do you plan on releasing beta's & Rc's ?

2: I know you don't like giving a time frame but are your plans on getting it out this year or next ?

1. We do beta testing with our own group of beta testers, we'll probably end up running the beta here for a while to expose 1.4 to a larger community base.
