Hello.

Moderators are able to delete higher ranked posts by Super Mods, Admins, etc. Why is this?

Could this possibly be deterred?

Thanks!

It's probably because you have set the Moderator group permissions too high.

Look at the screenshot and make sure you have this setup correctly for the Moderator group.

Sadly, that doesn't seem to be the issue. Moderators and Super Moderators alike can delete Admin+ posts and threads even when those settings are correct.

Check this screenshot and make sure that your Mods and other staff have been placed in the correct usergroups.

It doesn't matter what usergroup users are in, a user in the "Staff Group" can delete posts etc. made by a user in the "Mod Group". The same way a user in the Mod Group would be able to delete posts made by an admin. You're referring to this plugin: https://community.mybb.com/mods.php?action=view&pid=391
