Is there a way that I could get the Enhanced Account Switcher to not actually switch the account when using the dropdown menu? I know that I can give features in posts and new threads separate to the header dropdown because of the refresh setting in configurations but I'm not sure how I would go about doing this.
For example, on the free forum host Jcink, they have an account switcher that allows you to stay logged into one account while posting with your attached accounts. When I use the dropdown for account switcher, it either immediately refreshes to log me into the account or it will log me into the account after I hit submit on the post. If I am logged in as Sam, I want to be able to post as my attached account Lucy without being logged out of my Sam account.
I'm willing to put in my own work here, but I'm at a loss where to start.
