If anyone is interested (here's the story from Neowin)...

The Edge Drive development team has released Horizon Blogging Software version 1.0 today. This release features their new skinning engine, AJAX capabilities, and a re-written Administrative Control Panel. Horizon Blogging Software version 1.0 has taken 8 months to complete, and during those 8 months, there have been some major changes.

If that could plug into the API wordpress uses, it would be useful.

You can look them up on the Wikipedia. It's so that things can connect with WordPress. I'd never use a blog system that I couldn't use Windows Live Writer with.

Okay, I'll definitely look into it. That makes perfect sense.

Sorry, I said it wrong. It's not for connecting to WordPress at all.

It's so other aplications can plug into yours. Like things that write blogs as programs instead of the built in editor.
