Hello,

Adding a Gravatar avatar via email is not working on my MyBB 1.8.17 installation

Trying to submit an email address there returns the error
  • The URL you entered for your avatar does not appear to be valid. Please ensure you enter a valid URL.
Is this a known bug, or is it something wrong in my installation? I couldn't find it on the issue tracker, and the Gravatar avatars are working here on MyBB Community.

This appears to be an issue with DVZ Secure Content - not sure if it's the correct fix yet, but you can try this: https://community.mybb.com/thread-168820...pid1306484

The fix above on dvz_secure_content.php and turning off Block non-HTTPS avatars didn't work.

However, I can confirm it is an issue with DVZ Secure Content as it works with it turned off.
