One of my forum users reported that their PM Space Bar did not change after he pruned his private messages. Upon investigating, I found out that the field 'totalpms' in mybb_users had not changed. Recount Private Messages at the ACP did not work. I recently upgraded my forum to MyBB 1.8.17. I am clueless on how to fix this issue.
Found the problem. I had to remove the pm's from the trash folder.
