Updated to 1.8.17. Everything appears to be working correctly.

The forum appears fine in Safari but when i check it in Firefox and Chrome it looks very generic.
How can i make the forum appear correct across these browsers?
I installed a classic theme that was made for 1.8x version but that did not seem to solve the issue.
