Why didn't you upload the screenshots in this thread?

You will get better responses to your theme and some will download the theme if they can see the screenshots immediately instead of clicking through 3 links.

You as a theme creator should already KNOW how to upload images to the thread.

The author should be posting those screenshots in this THREAD as well.

For the shoutbox, you'll need https://community.mybb.com/mods.php?action=view&pid=63

What does this plugin have anything to do with your theme?

If you want to make your forum invite only, https://mods.mybb.com/view/invitation-system manual update to 1.8 needed

Again...

What does this plugin have anything to do with your theme?

Rename your index.php in your forums to home.php and make sure your forums isnt in your main folder put it somewhere else make a directory called /forums/ and put everything there

You will also need to edit the index.html in this directory and the forum directory and index.php with your forum name / forum links.

Why are those steps necessary for the installation of your theme?
I can state that those steps are NOT necessary for the installation of your theme.

Please clarify what you mean by those statements.

I also included a tos.

Theme made by https://steamcommunity.com/id/simplerealistic/ (Dylan aka simplerealistic)

I checked out the link, but I do not see anything in that webpage that is related to the theme that you made.

Bottom line...

Why in the hell did you create this readme.txt file in the first place?

None of that stuff is even related to the theme that you created. Rolleyes

Why were the Terms of Service created in a PHP file? A simple text file is sufficient.

The directory/folder structure is not defined at all.
A lot of the directories/folders are not even directly related to the theme at all.
You put in a lot of extra directories/folders from other plugins that many admins may not even use.
Do NOT assume that all admins use the DVZ Shoutbox or any other plugin.
Creating a new theme should not ever be dependent on plugins unless it's one of those customized themes that do depend on certain plugins to be installed and activated.

No instructions on WHERE those directories/folders are to be uploaded to.

This is a POORLY structured setup and needs much further clarification before it can be widely understood.

After unzipping this theme file and I saw this structure, I decided NOT to install this theme. It's not worth my time or effort.
