It's no secret that the Merge System is not currently maintained, regardless, it still works for the forums listed. As for stephx, with a little help the merge was successful. What are you not understanding in the docs? It seems that you lack an understanding of File Managers (I'm assuming you use cPanel) and not MyBB. In that case, on both the Install & Merge System docs there are links at the bottom to assist with that.
