When I add "<a href="  "> </a>" in thread prefix HTML code, I notice that in navigation area prefix gets broken (looks like there's </br> code before it), is there a way I can fix this?

default theme or custom theme. You can confirm if there is a <br> or not by looking at view source.

Custom, I don't see any <br> codes.
