I'm sure this can be made into a PLUGIN for 1.8.x.x can it not? as we will be waiting a very long time until stable v1.9.x is yet available.... could it not be part of the THEME as a Plugin? Has anyone thought of this option of using Font-Emoji (just like my THEME uses FontAwesome as part of the THEME, but nothing to do with the CORE functions of myBB)????
