Hi,
Recently I was trying the 'Move Topic'. I made a thread and I wanted to move someone's post from another thread to the one I made. Unfortunately somehow, the post I moved, was set as the first post in the thread I created.
Any suggestions?

There are 2 ways to move a thread or post.
In this screenshot, I always use the first option as shown in the screenshot.

Do NOT use the option below that first one you see in the screenshot. I mean, you can, but it's simpler to use the first option.
Also, make 100% certain that you are moving a Post NOT a Thread. Those are 2 different items. Do not think that both (post and thread) are the same.
Go back to what you were doing and try this method that I am showing you.
That is what I did @Serpius and it placed the post that I moved as the first post in the thread I created!
