Can you show us a screenshot or two of what the Letter Avatars would look like?
This is a very intriguing plugin that I might install on my website.

Absolutely genius!
I can't believe I've never thought of this. I will be installing this tomorrow and will give you some feedback.
As always, amazing work from my favorite dev.

This is so interesting Shade, I am sticking to gravatar random avatars(by DVZ) for now but planning to switch to this on WallBB forums soon

There is a demo link in the OP.
That 'Demo' link does not take me to the Letter Avatars page.
It takes me to some sort of a Facebook plugin.
Therefore, that's my reason for asking for a screenshot or two.

The page is MyFacebook Connect’s forum, in which you can see a lot of random avatars generated with Letter Avatars. Here’s a screenshot:
Settings used: 2 letters, all luminosities, no hue restrictions, font size 0.4.
Thank you guys

That's cool!!
What if a user has two words for his/her name?
Example: Frodo Baggins
Would the Letter Avatars plugin take initials from the first and second word in the username?
In your screenshot case, will it show up as FB or FR?

Precisely.
