Full Version: Stock Chart in Post v1.0
You're currently viewing a stripped down version of our content. View the full version with proper formatting.
New Plugin for mybb 1.4, 1.6, 1.8

Is adding a stock Chart in posts.

Copy all the files in their respective folders on your server.
Activate from AdminCP

The chart can be adjusted directly in post, and it has quite a few settings.
Dark or light theme, the style of the chart (candlesticks, line, ..), the studies that can be done..
Some of the settings are also in the chart itself, most of them deal with the studies, you can tune them per your liking
To embed a chart in a post you have to use [stksymb] and [/stksymb] ...
It works for stocks but also for currency

TO BE ABLE to use it the user in post has to use the code tags:
[stksymb]{stock exchange},{stock symbol}[/stksymb] or [stksymb]{stock symbol}[/stksymb]
Example
[stksymb]NASDAQ,CSCO[/stksymb]
[stksymb]TSX,BMO[/stksymb]
[stksymb]EURUSD[/stksymb]
[stksymb]GWO[/stksymb]
Some of the stock exchanges don't work.

Do some research and find out what are the top 5 study choices.

Stick with those top 5 study choices.

If admins want other study choices, then you can make a premium version of this Stock Chart plugin for that website.

No need to go crazy and list all of them, it's not worth the hassle and/or your time.

That is why I am asking here, to get some suggestions, I have my own preferred studies but other admins/users will have a different opinion.
This way I can get an idea of what is mostly wanted and what not.

It is hard to get people to make suggestions, but believe me, whatever you pick someone will ask for the one you didn't include lol
OK guys,
Finally I decided what YOU want Smile.

The plugin is now posted on the mod site.
If you have any suggestions please do it here or at the test site
