Hello everyone,

I've searched for this issue/tutorial but can't find it (even via Google)...
Can someone please explain how I do the following:

I want to set New Members to have Reply access only and NOT be able to Create New Threads unless I allow this?

I don't see any individual options in Admin?

I'm a bit confused with Groups - do they provide these individual permissions?
If so is the only way to do this to create 2 Groups? One with Reply only and One with All Permissions?

yes they do. In ACP click on groups, then any group, then forums and posts tab. Scroll down and you will see the options that you want.

Wow   thanks Ashley1, I feel silly now - no wonder there wasn't any thread on this!

I was looking at the user profile tab / admin (doh!) - have just followed your instructions and can see everything that I need now.
