Full Version: How to make board and user URL in HTML on MyBB

Hello, i have seen in some forums as well as here user https://community.mybb.com/user-1.html but in my forum it shown as "member.php?action=profile&uid=1"

same with boards "https://community.mybb.com/forum-176.html" but in my forum "forumdisplay.php?fid=8"
 

how can i make it in Html ? i want to do something and it because of the theme?

If I understand your request, do you want the URLs to look like this?

Is that what you mean?
Enable search engine friendly URLS in ACP, then rename the file htaccess.txt to .htaccess in the root folder.
For greater flexibility, look at the Google SEO plugin (this allows URLS like what Serpius provided)

thanks it showing as .html but everything is 404 page not found

Can't comment further, without more information at hand. Here is the official guidance on configuring SEF URLs.

Edit:

BTW the 404 error might be as a result of a common mistake with renaming htaccess.txt - take note of the dot before htaccess when renaming the file. Leaving it out will cause an error.
If you’re getting 404 errors are you sure you renamed htaccess.txt to .htaccess as Ashley1 instructed?

i haven't even open .htaccess file there was mention some site automatically configure it and mine also does this i just enable it and it worked.
Finally it work now, but i got another problem regarding url but it because of the theme please if you have time go read my new thread.
