i am using file zilla on joolo.com and am unable to 666 the file attributes any suggestions
What is the error you get? Also, did you use FTP to upload the files you are trying to CHMOD?
i am nt getting an error everytime i try to 666 the files they return to 766 and yes i used ftp to upload
What CHMOD do your files default to when you upload them? If they default to a level higher than 666, it could be possible that your host doesn't allow you to CHMOD files to 666.
If this is the case, you would be better contacting your host to ask them about it.
goes to 766 when uploaded however it has allowed me to 666 ./inc/settings.php
./inc/config.php
I assume you're doing a clean installation? Can you try running the installer and see if it accepts the current CHMOD value?
