Hello,
I have a test site: https://kaonsdesigns.com/hydrogen/
It's a brand new install of mybb 1.8.19
PHP version 7.1
The ONLY plugin installed is the most recent version of php in templates: http://mybbhacks.zingaburga.com/showthread.php?tid=260
Interestingly enough, it knocks out the entire front-end of the forum. The index.php page is completely blank except for the doc type stuff.
It seems to work well enough in PHP 7.0, but security support ends next month, so I need to stick with PHP 7.1.
BECAUSE it's not throwing any errors into the error log file or my server errors, I am having trouble pin-pointing exactly what's not compatible.
I am happy to pay for help!
Nevermind.
A friend helped me find the updated version of the plugin and now it's happy in 7.1
