For some reason, presumably as a result of the latest MyBB update (full update undertaken), when I am in ACP/Edit User looking at user profiles, whatever user I select shows the correct user overview in the Overview Tab, and  is also correct in all other tabs - except that my own user profile (username, password etc) appears in the user's  Profile tab.

Clearing browser cache & closing & reopening browser makes no difference.

What could be causing this, and how would I fix it?  Is it a known bug?

** Edit - this seems to have been a Chrome browser specific issue - under Edge browser it was not a problem, and updating Chrome seems to have solved.

Sounds like it was a cookie issue

That was my first thought as well, but using Chrome's Clear Browsing Data function (including cookies), did not resolve it.  Incomplete cookie clearing may have been something that was addressed in the Chrome update of course.
