Add the Discord user info here as shown in the screenshot.

Does anyone still use the ICQ? If not, replace that with the Discord user option.

This has literally nothing to do with this thread except from it’s about Discord. This is about adding a Discord link to the footer of the forum. Your post is a suggestion to remove and add a feature.

It's not about adding a feature. The feature 'Contact Details' is already there. 

All I am requesting is either adding or replacing an option within that feature. That's it.

I can't see why the addition of a custom profile field is a problem.

This post was split into a new thread. This suggestion didn’t “fit” into the original thread.

All such fields are already planned (and implemented) to move altogether to custom profile fields in future version (1.9) of MyBB.
