hello,

I need some help i just installed myBB RC 3 and I can log in but when ever i goto click on a link such as member list or admin cp it takes me to http://www.yourdomain.com/admin/ instead of http://www.yourdomain.com/forums/admin/

can some one help me out?

In the admin control panel, go to Settings -> Change -> General Configuration and look for the "Board URL" setting.

i cannot get into the admin cp if i type in the url manually it says this: "This language does not contain an Administration set"
and yea there is a language files in the inc/languages/english/admin directory...

One way to edit the Site Link is to go through the database, or use a SQL Command via phpMyAdmin.

Run this SQL Command via phpMyAdmin:

UPDATE `settings` SET `value` = 'newurl' WHERE `sid` = '4' LIMIT 1 ;

Of course changing newurl to the url of your forums.

i tried that and still nothing... it still doesn't work...
