Since last October the mailfunction of our board ( zbbs.nl/forum ) is not working.
I've tried to set the mail on PHP and SMTP but in both cases the system mail ( automated messaging on posts ) is not working.
The workarround in your documentation: "https://docs.mybb.com/1.8/faq/mail/" works partly. Only the PHP test give positive result.
The second part ( altering inc/functions.php ) can not be carried out while the string
is not to be found.
In spite of advise from the Host SMPT is not working either.
Mail sent to the forum account is passing trough but the mailfunction as massages of posts and registrations is not working.
Where is it going wrong?
