The index_showteamlink template is not being cached in a default installation.
showteamlink template is already renamed and relocated. Now its called
footer_showteamlink and being cached.

However, it was being cached in index earlier too. Check the changes of index.php in the same PR.
So I assume this is fixed in the upcoming release, right?
No, this should not be an issue in previous release as well coz the code was there in index.php?
Were you, by any chance replaced your files with the latrst repo after that pr merge?
This will be fixed in 1.8.20 release
