Hey all,
Considering moving my forum from PhpBB to MyBB.
Can someone answer a functionality question for me please.

One of the things I want/need, is that by default every user gets emailed copied on every posting made. The email needs to contain the contents of the single post, or the full thread. User can disable this feature, but it is on by default.

I do this in PhpBB with a 3rd party plugin, but lots of work to keep it running.

Any way to accomplish similar in MyBB?

Time to switch if that's the case
You can do this in MyBB as well with a simple tweak.
Set Thread subscription as default for all users and you will be having this feature available.

As WallBB said, simply editing the templates to force subscriptions by default is the easiest way. You can run a query to update the value for all current users once you finish converting (I don't know if the merge system covers that user field, but if it is not a default phpBB feature it probably doesn't).
