I have noticed this so far in a user's signature and in a poll.

In the signature:
[attachment=41430]

In the poll:
[attachment=41432]
What should be here is one image and two links.

Check the accounts "User CP > Edit options>Thread View Options>Display images in posts." is ticked or not.
