What about making the ranks have different color names. So each time they rank up, their name changes from color.

You can currently change the name style (including color) based on their display group, but not rank. Perhaps you could accomplish this with the plugin which automatically changes group membership based on the number of posts.

I'm assuming you're talking about "User Titles" (in Admin CP --> User & Groups --> User Titles): You can actually put HTML in the titles so to make a title green:
