I tried create a backup of my database through ACP. But once after downloading the file when I opened it. It looks gibberish.
Here is screenshot. I tried opening it via Notepad++ after extracting it.

If you are using cPanel with hosting, use Backup Wizard and take the DB backup. It is much safe and easier that way.

Is it like Notepad++??
I understand that there are a lot of way to make a backup, but if you cant make it from your ACP, you have to ffind and fix the problem, because the problem is not in be able to make a backup, but in some kind of unknown bug and maybe you have more bugs you still dont know?
I would advice you backup you files and reupload your clean backup (I hope you have one).

It's better... in my opinion.
Try it... it's FREE.

I don't know the reason. But everytime I make backup through Mozilla browser its gibberish.
But if I do the process through Chrome then its okay.
