This reminds me of the way IcyBoards operated.
You are forced to use the cloud and not able to use your own domain.
Essentially, the website becomes a subforum of oddo.com. Not a good way to develop a strong presence on the internet.
AOE provides few good solutions similar (the Magneto people).
They have a good list of OSS products with a similar CRM named probably Oro
or O3

Considering it would be an internal system, I don't really think that's an issue. It's not as though you're creating a new community forum on a subdomain.
For the record, towards the end, IcyBoards did allow you to use a proper domain.
