Hi , i just started noticing some of the users have registration or last knwn ip format is like this 


2402:3a80:xx5:d1e:af4:xxx8:7dac:2xxxc

what it denotes ?? can some body shed some light on it plz

Thats v6 format.

Because the format of an IP address is a 32-bit numeric address written as four numbers separated by periods.

I thought it was separated by 'colons', not periods.
