You can also apply patches using git apply. We generate the patches using git format-patch internally. Documentation is available here: https://git-scm.com/docs/git-apply

Ok guys, I am not sure but GitLab should have a support for private PRs and issues IIRC. Anyway I prefer GitHub to Gitlab
