I have to do some work in our forum. So, I have uploaded mybb in a localhost which is using Cerise theme.

I have to disable all the plugins and then reactivate them.

After disabling all the plugins I checked the theme was working fine but once I activated all the plugins the theme isn't showing its broke.

I saw some posts about rebuilding the global.css or creating a folder under cache. But couldn't get a fixed solution.

Cerise ACP style or Cerise front-end theme? also note that I haven't updated the front-end theme to 1.8.20 yet due to my free time being rather occupied with other more pressing online and offline life responsibilities at the moment.

Though even without updating it it appears to be working say when I ignored version compat on install via 1.8.20:

Its in 1.8.19 so its not my concern here. Could you please share some advice about the current matter at hand?

Well, without seeing the frontend or backend of the localhost the first thing I would ask is, is this only happening on one theme? or all..., also have you tried re-installing the theme to see if it is the physical hosted copy that is corrupted say by a plugin uninstall that modified templates or what not? If this is happening on any theme installed well then that would rule out it as a theme specific issue...., if it is only happening on the currently installed theme and say you install a second renamed copy and it works ...., then that could be a plugin related issue or something else. Also define broken...., what exactly are you seeing as broken..., is it that font-awesome is not displaying if so that could be due to missing theme directory in correct location...., is it template issue? that could mean somehow the template set either got reverted or switched  to another template set by accident. Or is it simple a css related issue? Simply saying it is broken could leave it open to a huge variety of interpretations. Also, what does your headerinclude look like? And or have you simply tried first lloking in your theme settings and if it looks all good then simply openening each css file and quickly saving them each to see if that fixes say a cache issue?

Also some of this may be informative or not:

https://docs.mybb.com/1.8/administration...-problems/

Most of that is applicable but the theme directory is different ie: http://www.yoursite.com/forum/themes/cerise

*also note: not saying this is or is not the case for you but a good majority of the time when people have told me cerise or cerulean frontend themes were broken it was actually the fact that the themes directory was not in correct location thus not allowing required files to load, the other times it was simply users mistaking the acp style of the same name for the frontend theme of the same name..., hence why I ask all these various questions first. Hopefully that makes sense. Smile
I have advanced sidebox installed, as I said I disabled them it was working fine but when I activated them it got messed up.

Here is an image of my localhost https://ibb.co/fv1tzY5. And here is the link of my site https://seomotionz.com (working perfectly fine).

I can surely replace easily the theme files as it is on a localhost. But I need to know the real problem what's causing it.

My concern is that you say this only happened after uninstalling advanced sidebox plugin...., makes me think that uninstall broke things, care to share the version number of that plugin? update: Not sure that is it either because I just installed cerise and advanced sidebox on a localhost and cannot recreate your issue, i added a bunch of sideboxes, removed them , uninstalled the plugin...., nope no issue. nor an issue with the theme..., so this may be specific to something with your localhost and say permissions, cache, or then again simply something as simple as your headerinclude being messed up or any of the other reasons i mentioned before. Currently I am in much need of sleep so I will have to respond to you if and or when you supply further details.

also did you try what i suggested and open and save each stylesheet just in case the cache is the problem? And also like I suggested did you look at your headerinclude to see if it has what is needed there and is not perhaps corrupted due to a plugin uninstall. And the other options, I suggested like trying another theme install and or such as i mentioned because those may pinpoint that it is simple a single theme corruption that has nothing to do with the theme itself, try say cerulean as it is identical to cerise....,  or also try installing cerise again and again those outcomes may give clues
Yeah, I have done it but not the headerinclude what should I look into it?

The advanced sidebox plugin is ASB 3.1.16

just tried Advanced Sidebox (3.1.17) and cerise on localhost 1.8.19 and 1.8.20 ignoring compat..., no issues apparent..., as such i cannot yet recreate your issue

ummm does your headerinclude  look as so?

Also is your cache directory and sub directories and its contents writable??

Also in regards to that have you perhaps read this to see if this may be of any usage:

https://community.mybb.com/thread-101253.html

Hopefully some of these numerous suggestions get you pointed in the right direction...., but for the moment, alas I must get a few moments of shuteye.
Headerinclude is fine. I checked. and yes I have been through this post yesterday, done it the steps.

I will recheck my steps and let you know tomorrow.

So, I solved the current problem at hand. I checked templates through ACP Tools & Templates and find that the cache folder wasn't writable so I made them writable. And rebuild & reload all the caches. That did it right.

But now what I am seeing that the icons aren't showing. Take a look. https://ibb.co/rfjVDt4

And also as I login in the localhost it keeps redirecting to my main (live) site. It hasn't done this before.

looks like your included font-awesome is not loading...., is the theme folder in the correct directory? *

yourforum/themes/cerise/

* as without that font-awesom wont load nor will other files included in that directory that the theme needs

as for the redirect thing you mention..., one can speculate, but to be frank, not sure, nor sure if it is theme specific, but it sounds like you copied these things from your liveserver perhaps and have those paths stored or hardcoded ie it still thinks it is on the live server?
