Hi Guys,

My portal doesn't display the latest announcements?

I followed what the wiki said, click the announcements forum, get the FID and enter that into the Portal Settings Pages, done that.

I then made an announcement in the correct forum, which i set in the portal settings.

I go to the portal, and no announcements appear?

Forum ID


Enter ID into Settings


Add announcement into correct forum


I can see the announcement in correct forum, with FID 4


Doesn't show on portal page


Any help would be greatly apprecaited,

It does not list announcements; It lists threads

No, the wiki says announcements and the admin panel says announcements?

And I already have normal posts in the forum and it doesn't show, and I just made another one and that isn't showing either.

Yeah, for some reason announcements on the portal mean the latest threads from a forum. I've only just realised how confusing that can be.

It should be threads

Well threads don't show either

Make sure your inc/settings.php is CHMOD 777
