So Old Forum (Forum A) is dwindling in usage, and Forum B is brand new, both on separate hosts.
I want to 'archive' some subforums (specifically all the subforums of one category) of Forum A on the new Forum B entirely in a category that will be read-only. I don't know how long Forum A will still be worth keeping alive, due to the separate costs and some issues with the hosting.
Problems I forsee are things like usernames, I don't want artificially inflated numbers there or old members to join to see their username is taken.
Table prefixes are different though so i don't know if something can be done to avoid the above issue with that.
I don't know if this is even possible to do. But if so, what would be the best way to go about it?
