If you never used ABP User Map, you can test it without any trouble.
If you already use version 1.x, save your mybb_users table before upgrading: I use new tables and clean (after merging datas) the previous field I use in mybb_users.
I've tested the merging tool but some errors can occure. If you have a testing environment, use it !

As you use BootBB, you'll probably have to add the links by the hand.
In header: {$abp_umap_toplink}.
In usercp_nav_misc: {abp_umap_nav_option}
You'll also have to modify the abpumap_nav_option and abpumap_toplink templates to have them compatible with BootBB.
And last thing: german language is not provided, so you'll have to create the translation
