other DBMS other then MySQL & MySQLi

what will MyBB 1.4.0 have as I have heard rumblings that you will support more but which ones and

if SQLite is one will you do what phpBB seems not willing to do is have a driver for SQLite 2 series & 3 series(as they have backwards comp.)

also if 1.4.0 has these have you all started testing mybb 14 with these on dev site and what is you alls general opinions what is BEST/SMOOTHEST/SPEEDEST(FASTEST)

Yes, MyBB will feature other Database engine support; I've got more details on my blog

Currently, all testing is internal and we are still under alpha testing on the database engines.
