It will probably be ok when your jquery.js file will be the good one and not a copy of jquery.plugins.min.js.
If your files are modified, find why they are modified... or who modified them.

I updated the JS files from the original mybb files
it cant be that

which version of MyBB you are using ?

run file verification tool from below location. what does it report ?
forum admin panel >> tools & maintenance >> file verification

ignore reported images & ignore files reported from install folder & its sub-folders

your forum has mini registration form. is that originally from the theme ?
which theme actually you are using ?

AND your forum doesn't has powered by MyBB notice ! support can be denied.

Yes its from the theme as I replaced all files besides theme to see if maybe there was a modified
ah my bad I thought it was there ( our old theme had it) Since fixed, Theme was a custom made one
it worked on our other host before we moved to a new one but the only issue is the register page
I even tried the default theme and I still got the error

Come to think of it, since even in the default theme it gave the error
has to be something internal
as all plugins were disabled when I tried it

registration error message is missing. it comes from a language file.
your files verification has reported changes in some language files.

can you physically check if content is missing in the language files ..

language files available here for comparison => [MyBB language files]

ALSO changed templates might be missing required variables.
it would be better to check errors first on MyBB's Stock theme.

I can't understand why you have all these files changed in admin/ and inc/.
Normaly, plugins and themes must not modify them. If you or someone modify them, you must know why.

Replaced verification files


Still error is empty

BUT in the default theme it let me register!!!
Ok we are almost done solving it lol

I put the default member register in and it switched the password?

Replaced with default register template
and memeber_register_password template
