As can be seen in the image attached below, there's not anything at the centre (column?) of my forum portal. There never has been either and I've meant to fix this for a long time. But I wonder...

Is anything meant to be there that isn't for some reason?

If that's not the case, any ideas on how to go about adding posts/messages posted by admin? Maybe there's a plugin I have yet to find?

Your attachment isn't showing for me. Do you mean announcements on the portal page?

Admin panel  > Configuration > Portal Settings

Is all forums set for Forums to pull announcements from ?

I had somehow missed or misunderstood that setting... It's activated and working now.  Thank you for the help!
