How should I do it in mybb? In wordpress or blogger you can simply fill out a form and that's it.
Should I create a ads.txt file and upload it in the root domain? Will that do it?
Where would you add this file under the Admin CP ?

You'd need to create it either in your host's file manager or upload it through FTP to the root folder for the domain, I don't believe you can do this through Admin CP.

Google will see the file and count your site as validated. It's not a problem.
