Installed 1.8.1, did not change the registration settings. The person registered and he did not receive a letter to activate the account. After a couple of hours I wrote to him - there are no letters, I checked the spam folder.

What is the problem and where to look?

Contact your hosting provider. Make sure your settings in "Mail" is correct. This is a problem with hosting not MyBB

ACP > Tools & Maintenance > System Mail Log

Does it show any errors?

Try use SMTP mail. ACP > Configuration > Settings > Mail Settings

I do not want to create a test account yet, in a couple of days.
In the settings I removed the confirmation by mail.
I wonder if the registration letter will come?

not working! I tried to reset my account password - the letter did not come to the mail. Spam checked.
Is it normal that registration letters do not come with a password reset? Or just me?

armpc.ru is NOT a GMail email account.

It will not work unless you have a REAL valid GMail account.
